At present, the school functions under the guidance of Sh. K.K. Rao, IPS, ADGP, Hisar, and the respected Sh. Kuldeep Singh, IPS, SP, Chairman of D.A.V. Police Public School.
The school building is an architectural marvel with well-ventilated classrooms, expansive playgrounds, and sprawling, well-manicured lawns adorned with ornamental trees, rare creepers, and multi-coloured flowers, creating a vibrant and inspiring learning environment.
Spread over more than 5 acres, D.A.V. Police Public School has two separate wings for Primary and Secondary levels. The campus houses more than 42 spacious classrooms, along with dedicated rooms for Music, Arts & Craft, Yoga, a Multipurpose Hall, a well-stocked Library, and separate Science Laboratories. The infrastructure provides a spacious and conducive atmosphere for learning.
The school has emerged as a hub of excellence in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. The medal tally has been consistently rising each year in both academic and sporting arenas. The school proudly boasts students who have represented and won medals at State, National, and International levels in Hockey, Handball, and Taekwondo.
Every year, several students are recognized as Best Cadets in NCC Air Wing Haryana and receive cash prizes. In addition to NCC, NSS, Scouts & Guides, the school also runs a PCC/HCC (Haryana Cadet Corps) wing, reflecting its disciplined and service-oriented ethos as a Police Public School.
Considering the increasing demand and growing student strength, the school proposes to expand its infrastructure by adding one more floor to the Primary Wing, along with the construction of an Auditorium and a Swimming Pool to further enhance holistic development opportunities for students.
